About Me

As the Executive Director at the Massachusetts Library System, my role includes coordinating our services, while working closely with our talented and knowledgeable staff of 20, over two offices, (one in Marlborough, MA and one in Northampton, MA), and in partnership with other state and national organizations and associations.  Together, we provide critical services to our members, including Statewide Delivery, Consulting and CE training, database, eBook, and Mediated ILL services, and Summer Library Programs. We work to  ensure that library staff at our 1600 member libraries offer the best services possible to their communities.

I spent years working in the public library field in a variety of roles. I taught classes, led a Young Adult department, coordinated volunteers, and served as my library's tech librarian. After leaving the public library, I served as the Youth Services Consultant for the Metrowest and Boston Regional Library Systems before continuing in that role with the MA Library System. After becoming the Consulting and Training Services Director in 2015,  I moved into my current role in 2019.
