Blue Marble Library Guide: Massachusetts Climate Change Adaptation

Collaboration of the state libraries from Maine to Maryland to prepare library facilities for emergency weather.

The Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2025 and 2030 (2025/2030 CECP) provides details on the actions the Commonwealth will undertake through the next decade to ensure the 2025 and 2030 emissions limits are met.

Statewide analysis detailing how Massachusetts people, environments, and infrastructure may be affected by climate change and related hazards through the end of the century. This assessment directly informed the first five-year update to the State Hazard Mitigation and Climate Adaptation Plan (SHMCAP), ResilientMass, that was released in Fall 2023.

Provides recommendations for municipalities in their operation of cooling centers and outlines actions municipalities may take to help prevent health impacts caused by hot weather.

hazards by encouraging actions that reduce the risk to family and property. Preparing for
coastal hazards by planning, performing home maintenance, and undertaking preventative
retrofits enhances individual resilience and helps create a strong community. "
