Librarians: Fail Fast and Prosper: Home

Join us for our 2015 annual spring conference!

Ignite sessions

The submission deadline has passed. Proposals are being reviewed. Stay tuned for details!

How does your academic, public, school or special library respond to opportunities that grow from failure? MLS seeks proposals for ten Ignite Sessions meant to raise questions and showcase individual solutions addressing libraries' responses and learning from missteps.

Some sample topics include:

  • Facility disaster silver linings
  • Advancing a major project
  • Successful fundraising or partnerships
  • Planning a career ladder and taking steps

We call for proposals for ignite session presentations by librarians who have shaped success out of failure.
