Animoto-what it is

Animoto is a video creation service (online and mobile) that makes it easy and fun for anyone to create and share extraordinary videos using their own pictures, video clips, words and music.

Create a free account, choose a look and sound template, upload your own pictures, add some text and produce! ONce the video is created, you can post to other social media accounts, like Facebook, embed in your websitte, and share via email.

You can make unlimited 30 seond videos for free, or pay for longer videos. In a school? Animoto offers an Educator's Classroom Code.

Other tips:

·      Animoto works best with jpg or gif formats.

·      A 30 second video accepts between 8 and 12 photos.

·      You can select music and templates from their huge catalog of Royalty Free materials.

·      Adding text to videos is easy to do, but will limit the number of pics you can include.

·      Animoto takes care of all producing elements…fades, slides, effects.

·      Once you create your video, you can share it online, either by linking or embedding the video, and you can download it to your computer (Pro account only). You can also burn a DVD of the video.

·      Terms of Use say: “You must be 13 years of age or older to be a User of the Services.”
