Blue Marble Library Idea Shares

by Michelle Eberle on 2024-03-06T20:07:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

Massachusetts library workers, you are invited to join us for the Blue Marble Library Idea Shares.

Register now to participate.

Save the dates for upcoming Blue Marble Library Idea Shares:

  • May 1 from 3-4 PM
  • August 7 from 3-4 PM
  • November 6 from 3-4 PM

These virtual gatherings will include a brief presentation featuring an innovative environmental or climate preparedness library program, resource, community partner, or service.  At the meetings, you will have the opportunity to share how your library is supporting sustainability and climate preparedness and hear about activities at libraries in Massachusetts.  We will also highlight a grant opportunity.

In exciting news,  ALA recently updated the Core Values of Librarianship and sustainability is one of the core 5 values.  Join us to discover creative ways to bring sustainability to your library.

Hope you will join us to spread word about the good work that your library is doing and to get inspiration and support from your colleagues!

 Best,

 Michelle, Corey, Gabrielle, and Reni
