MLS Member Webinars Timeline 

 

Please note that dates are general and may change slightly from year to year, depending on the calendar.

September 1 – November 1:  

  • Submissions open for Spring Webinar Series (taking place mid-March to mid-May)  

 

Third Thursday in November:  

  • MLS Continuing Education and Advisory Committee (CEAC) meets to review submissions.  

 

Throughout December:  

  • Submitters are notified about whether their proposal was accepted or not.  

  • Presenters will have a 30-minute kickoff meeting with MLS Consultant Jane Stimpson to discuss the webinar process, answer questions, and talk about next steps.  

 

January – February:  

  • Presenters work with Jane Stimpson on presentation skills and learn about incorporating DEI, accessibility, and interactivity into their webinars.  

  • Presenters will work with MLS staff to schedule a date for the webinar and a date for the tech check about a week prior. 

  • Presenters will sign the MLS Member Webinar Agreement outlining MLS commitments and expectations, and presenter commitments. 

 

 March 1 – May 1:  

  • Submissions open for Fall Webinar Series (taking place mid-September to mid-November) 

 

Mid-March – mid-May:  

  • Spring Webinars take place 

  • Recorded webinars are uploaded to the MLS Vimeo channel after captioning 

  • Webinar presenters complete evaluation of the process 

 

Throughout May:  

  • CEAC evaluates Fall Webinar proposals  

 

Late May / early June:  

  • Submitters are notified about whether their proposal was accepted or not.
