The Massachusetts Library System (MLS) recognizes the importance of being able to attend conferences. At conferences, library staff have the opportunity to hear new ideas, learn best practices, meet vendors, get career advice, re-connect with friends, and expand their network. MLS is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for staff at MLS member libraries to attend library related conferences. Currently, MLS has the following conference grant scholarships available:
Please note: scholarship recipients are expected to complete an Outcomes Report within 30 days of the end of their conference. Completion of an Outcomes Report is a requirement of the scholarship and helps MLS understand the impact of the scholarship.
