Massachusetts is home to many different languages. To help you serve your patrons, regardless of the language they speak, the Massachusetts Library System (MLS) is pleased to offer MLS public library members the opportunity to access over the phone interpretation services at no cost.
At this time, Language Line Solutions over the phone interpretation services are only available to MLS public library members.
This over the phone interpretation service is a pilot project and supports Initiative 1 Goal 3 and Initiative 3 Goal 1 of the MLS Strategic Plan.
If you are interested in accessing Language Line Solutions for your library, please follow these steps:
Language Line Solutions should only be used by MLS member public libraries when working with library patrons. Any other use is unauthorized and prohibited. For example, this interpretation service is not intended to be used for document or website translation.
Please note: when you submit your application, you will receive automated emails from learn@masslibsystem.org. We will typically use this email address when communicating with you. Please add this email address to your Safe Senders List to ensure that our emails do not end up in your junk folder.
